Anna Edinger

Master Student
About

Anna received her BSc in Chemical Biology from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the same field. She has worked on decoding microbial dark matter and cell-penetrating drug delivery systems. During her semester abroad at the University of Skövde, Sweden, she deepened her knowledge of bioinformatics.

During her six-month research period in Ljiljana’s group, she is working alongside Dr. Andrew Baker and Ben Wei on the synthesis, modification and application of senescence-targeting and protein-degrading nanoparticles.

In her free time, she enjoys sunny walks (which she discovered are relatively rare in the UK), reading fiction and crocheting.
