Beatriz Lozano Torres

Post Doctoral Researcher
About

Beatriz obtained her PhD in chemistry from Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) supervised by Prof. Martínez Mañez woking on development of probes and drug delivery systems for chemotherapy-induced senescence.  She has been trained in molecular recognition, the design of molecular sensors, nanotechnology and drug delivery. She has received an award for Young Researchers and the second prize for XVII “Ciudad de Algemesí” Scientific-Technical Award.  Prior to joining Fruk group, she was Margarita Salas Postdoctoral Fellow within Crystal Engineering Lab at the Institute of Molecular Science (ICMol) in Valencia working on development of  therapeutic Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs). Outside the lab, she practices latin dances and horse riding.
